On Thursday I check in to a terrifying (by terrifying I mean really cheap) hotel in nyc on the upper west side. it overlooks central park. cool. it's also 2 blocks away from harlem. like in the movies.
i'm actually pretty psyched for the adventure. i've been to new york a few times, but never stayed at a cheap hotel.
i'm hoping i've got a little bit of luck on my side. Although I've already budgeted in one low-violence mugging and one sleepless night due to awful smell, creepy noises, wet, rats or giant roaches, it would be great if the adventures were kept to soho hijinks with canadian friends. NYC + luck = double cool.
